Sunvair's state-of-the-art 101,000 square foot facility handles the entire landing gear overhaul process under one roof. With capacity from the largest cylinders to the smallest pistons and all the necessary machinery, equipment, and personnel in one location, we control the overhaul process from beginning to end, leading to faster turnaround times, the best quality and lower costs for our customers.
History
Born from humble beginnings, our company began with job shop machining services in John Waschak's garage. In 1956, John moved into a larger facility in Sun Valley, naming the company Sun Valley Machine Works, which was later shortened to Sunvair. Over the next few decades, the Waschak's grew Sunvair into a major job shop for McDonnell Douglas & Lockheed Martin and we continue to build on their founding principles today with an unwavering commitment to quality and service.
Today Sunvair, a two-time Boeing Supplier of the Year winner, offers its customers full service, in-house capabilities which include machining, grinding, plating, non-destructive testing, hydraulic testing/repair, paint and various inspection processes. Sunvair is the proven leader in landing gear quality. Sunvair's success comes from our continuing commitment to deliver the highest quality repairs and overhaul service to keep our customers flying safely.
